Eligibility Criteria
- Be an international citizen from a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Meet Victoria University's academic admission requirements for a research degree.
- Meet the university's English language requirements for research degree enrolment.
- Have a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) or Honours result equivalent to H1 or at least 85% under the Victoria University standard in the most recent eligible qualification.
- Be commencing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) research degree.
- Provide a suitable research-focus outline as part of the application.
- Enrol as a full-time student.
- Applicants seeking another PhD may receive lower priority if they already hold a PhD or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants who have previously held an IPRS, VUIPRS, or OPRS may receive lower priority, except where the previous award supported a Master of Research and the applicant is now applying for PhD study.
