Description

The University of Hull is offering two Graduate Teaching Assistantship opportunities for eligible students who wish to pursue PhD research within the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences. The opportunity combines full-time doctoral research with part-time teaching responsibilities, allowing successful candidates to develop both research and higher-education teaching experience.

Successful applicants will receive an annual stipend of £21,805 together with tuition fee coverage at the UK rate. The programme also provides access to the university's research and teaching facilities and opportunities to build experience for an academic or research career.

Applicants are expected to have a strong academic background in Sport and/or Exercise Science, Sports Rehabilitation, or a related field and should be prepared to undertake research within one of the specified doctoral research areas.

Eligibility Requirements

• Hold at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree in Sport and/or Exercise Science, Sports Rehabilitation, or an equivalent discipline.
• Have achieved good results in an undergraduate research project or thesis.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Be able to work independently.
• Be highly motivated to undertake PhD-level research.
