About the Programme
The ECOWAS Young Graduates Immersion Programme offers young graduates from ECOWAS member states the opportunity to gain practical professional experience within the regional organization. Participants can develop their skills while contributing to activities related to policy, administration, project management, regional development, and other areas across ECOWAS departments, agencies, institutions, and designated host structures.
The immersion programme lasts for up to 12 months and is non-renewable. Successful participants receive a monthly stipend alongside professional development, training, mentorship, and networking opportunities designed to strengthen their workplace and leadership capabilities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of an ECOWAS member state.
- Must be aged 32 years or younger.
- Must hold a Certificate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or equivalent qualification.
- Must be available to participate full-time throughout the programme.
- Applicants may apply for a maximum of two positions.
