2027 APU Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship

The 2027 APU Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship provides an opportunity for international students living outside Japan who plan to pursue graduate studies at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU). Eligibility Criteria

• Not hold Japanese nationality, including dual nationality.
• Obtain a student visa for study in Japan.
• Be residing outside Japan until the start of the program.
• Not have resided in Japan for more than 31 days in total, subject to the stated exceptions.
• Have Japanese-language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N4 or higher.
• Be born after April 2, 1982.
• Meet APU's admission requirements for the intended graduate program.

How to Apply

3. Request consideration as a Rotary Yoneyama scholarship candidate in the APU application.
4. Submit your APU application by October 7, 2026 for April 2027 enrollment.
5. Apply directly to the Rotary Yoneyama scholarship organization around October 2026.
6. Notify the scholarship organization that APU's recommendation letter will be issued after the admission results.
7. If selected, APU will provide the required recommendation letter.
8. Submit the recommendation letter to the scholarship organization as instructed.
